Structural Assessments
Structural Assessments
Reliable diagnosis of structural issues.
Before you have a building demolished, you need to ensure that the right method of demolition is used, allowing it to be demolished safely. A structural condition assessment will study how the building will react to demolition or dismantling, allowing the work to proceed in a safe and secure manner.
These assessments will take the form of desk assessments, based on visual inspections and historical data. This information can be combined by our experts with other data, such as information around prior modifications to the building and details about its construction.
If there is not enough data, we can carry out a structural investigation and make recommendations about these investigations. This process will typically be carried out as part of a contract, but it is also possible to complete a structural assessment prior to a tender.
These investigations will allow us to make recommendations about the structure’s state and its demolition. Regardless of the kind of structure, we will be able to help make your project as safe as possible.
